In a supersecret beach wedding in one of the islands of Seychelles, Former Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach tied the knot with businessman fiance Jeremy Jauncey on March 24.
In a surprise announcement on her instagram, Pia posted a reel showing snippets of her private beach wedding with the caption 'Mr & Mrs Jauncey 24.03.2023'. The video shows clips of sweet and happy moments of the two during the ceremony, their exchange of vows and the ceremonial cake cutting. However, no reports yet on who are the possible guests in attendance in the wedding since no guests were shown in the clips.
The now Mrs Jauncey rose to international fame after she was crowned Miss Universe in 2015 after third attempt to represent the country in the prestigious pageant. However, her bid for the Miss Universe crown got stalled after the infamous inadvertent mistake of the pageant hosts. And yet Pia answered confidently that it was her mission to make people aware of the realities of HIV. Up to now, Pia is a UNAids Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific, supporting people living with HIV; an advocate for women's health and rights, mental health; and a campaigner for WWF-Philippines.
It was May 2022 when the couple made public their engagement.
