Miss Supranational Philippines 2023, Pauline Amelinckx, proved once more that her beauty and wit as she almost bagged the crown as first runner up.
The Boholana beauty came out to be the strong contender among the 65 supra ladies. Before her Miss Supranational stint, Pauline, joined the Miss Universe Philippines thrice, in 2020, she finished 3rd runner up as Miss Charity 2022. She did not compete in any international beauty pageant but named as a core ambassador in the Miss Universe Organization charity advocacy.
This year, the Miss Universe organization surprised the pageant fanatics by acquiring two additional pageant titles, Miss Supranational and Miss Charm, under the organization. Pauline also received a special award as the Supra Chat Winner.
Her first runner up win is the highest placement of the Philippines after Mutya Johanna FontiverosDatul was crowned as Miss Supranational in 2013.
After advancing to the final Five, the finalists were asked the same question, "What makes for a good brand ambassador for this organization?"
Pauline's winning answer: "It would be dedication. Dedication to this journey, dedication to the people who have brought her up to this journey, and dedication of course with the organization that she'll end up working with. This is such a beautiful experience. And she has to be someone who will bring people together. Someone who knows that this is not a one-woman journey. We all have differences, but we also realize that we have so much in common. And we are now gathered here on this stage transcending our own borders, bringing the nation together."
In the end, Ms. Ecuador, Andrea Aguilera, was crowned as Miss Supranational 2023, Ms. Philippines, Pauline Amelinckx, is the 1st runner up, Ms. Brazil, Sancler Frantz named as 2nd runner up, Ms. United Kingdom, Emma Collingridge, was the 3rd runner up, and Ms. Vietnam, Ngan Dang Thanh won the 4th runner up and also the winner for Fan Vote Challenge.
