An Asian crossover is set to happen and expected to buzz in local cinemas very soon as Filipina actress Janella Salvador is to make a movie with Thai superstar Win Metawin.
In an an instagram post of 28 Squared Studios, producer of the movie with Two Infinity Entertainment, the lead stars officially announced their teaming up in the movie "Under Parallel Skies" directed by Sigrid Bernardo, the director behind the phenomenal movie Alessandra D Rossi and Empoy Marquez, "Kita Kita" and "Walang Kaparis".
"We are so excited to announce to you guys that we will be teaming up for the upcoming movie 'Under Parallel Skies,' to be directed by Sigrid Bernando. We are very, very excited to share this with you very soon", the duo said in their announcement video.
The romantic-comedy movie was set and filmed in Hong Kong. However, no dates on the movie showing are set announced.
Win Metawin rose to asian fame after being debut in his phenomenal BL (Boys Love) Drama, 2gether the series, with Bright Vachirawit. This series also made an avenue in the rise of many BL dramas that got popularity on digital movie platforms. He also received an offer to play a role in the upcoming version of F4 Thailand.
Janella, on the other hand, created a mark in the showbiz industry after the successful playing her role in "Be Careful with my Heart" and played a villain in the latest version of "Darna."
