Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s altruism especially to fellow entertainers goes beyond home.
Even in the US, Sharon’s concern for the enhancement of cinema, world or homegrown, extends her support.
One of them was her personal appearance to endorse the film “Easter Sunday” which starred Fil-Am standup comedian and actor Jo Koy, directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and produced by legendary film artist Steven Spielberg.
Cuneta, according to Janet Susan Rodriguez-Nepales, writer and member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the annual organizer and giver of the prestigious Golden Globe Awards, graced the movie premiere after-party in Los Angeles, California.
“When a Mega Star arrives to a world premiere, hell breaks loose, or should I say, all the actors turn into fans. But of course, why not. It is SHARON CUNETA, anyway,” noted Janet in her Facebook wall.
Shawie gave her gesture of support to the Fil-Am group who did an amazing job of a movie.
Present during Cuneta’s appearance were Fil-Am Hollywood stars Tia Carere, Lou Diamond Philips, among others. Sharon had a photo-op with Lou and Rodney To, a Fil-Am actor who played Jo Koy’s dad in the film, shot by writer and member of the HFPA Ruben V. Nepales. Other photos of the Filipino actress were uploaded in Rodriguez-Nepales' Facebook pages.
The Megastar was in the US for a concert tour with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
