NETMARBLE Corp and Marvel Entertainment have announced that the role-playing game Marvel Future Revolution will launch worldwide on August 25.
The South Korean developer held a livestream on June 30th, where details of the upcoming mobile game were disclosed – and pre-registration is now open for iOS and Android.
Marvel Future Revolution's narrative begins with a multi-dimensional crisis known as "Convergence" that sees a mysterious cosmic force break down the barriers between realities, and causes multiple alternate Earths to collide with one another.
The Vision sacrifices himself to stop this using phasing powers to combine the planets into one primary Earth.
As a result, and in tandem with technology from Project Pegasus, the Vision becomes the core of a "Convergence Engine" to hold everything in place.
This measure is only temporary and it's up to the Avengers and friends to save reality and defend the planets from numerous villains.
The free-to-play Marvel Future Revolution is the follow-up to Netmarble’s Future Fight.
The new game features real-time action combat with Marvel’s most iconic characters.
At launch, eight playable heroes will be available, including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel and others.
Additionally, on July 28 at 1:00 p.m. BST ( 8:00 p.m. PST), players can tune into Marvel’s YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Twitch to learn more about the upcoming mobile RPG.

Each hero will be customizable in the game with mix and match 4-piece costumes.
The game will also include several regions such as New Stark City, Hydra Empire, Sakaar, Midgardia and more, as well as five game modes.
Those who will pre-register will receive a “Pre-Registration Costume Gift Box” which will give the player a full costume set of in-game cosmetics items for one of Marvel Future Revolution‘s starter heroes.
