Live Nation Philippines announced on Tuesday morning via Twitter the comeback show of British singer Louis Tomlinson in Manila on July 16 at the New Frontier Theater.

Tickets will be sold to the public at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 5, via TicketNet.com.ph and all TicketNet outlets while members of Live Nation Philippines are entitled to an early access of the tickets during the pre-sale on Saturday, June 4.

The tickets to the event are priced at P4,100, P3,700, P3,050 and P1,500.

Tomlinson first performed in the Philippines In 2015 with his band One Direction and bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds during a two-night sold out show of their “On The Road Again” tour.

Since 2016, One Direction has been on a hiatus in which Tomlinson grabbed the opportunity to debut as a solo artist with the release of his single “Just Hold On.”

As a soloist, Louis has been successful internationally as he won the Best Song Award at the Teen Choice Awards for his single ‘Two Of Us,’ in 2019, while in 2018 Louis won an iHeart Award for ‘Best Solo Breakout’ and an EMA Award for ‘Best UK & Ireland Act’ in 2017.

“I feel like a new artist now. It’s taken a while for me to be comfortable on my own, to learn to trust my gut, and make sure I get what I want. I feel the most confident I’ve ever been, both as a songwriter and a singer, and the most mature. Of course, I want to be successful, but what matters is what my music means to me and what it means to the fans. That’s the priority. The rest we’ll have to wait and see,” said Louis in his YouTube series.

It wasn’t until 2020 when he released his first full-length solo album “Walls” which included hits like “Two of Us“, “Kill My Mind“, “We Made It“, “Don’t Let It Break Your Heart” and “Walls.“

During the pandemic, Louis also held his virtual concert Live From London in December 2020, selling over 160,000 tickets for the benefit of FareShare, Crew Nation, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, and Stagehand.
