Liza Soberano appeared in the South Korean variety show Not Hocance But Scance on Monday hosted by K-drama actress Ye Ji Won and SISTAR member Soyou.
Liza Soberano is back in South Korea and made her first guest appearance on the reality and variety show Not Hocance But Scance, the actress shared on her social media on Monday, July 25.
“Had my first ever [Korean] show guesting tonight on MBN’s ‘Not Hocance But Scance, ”Soberano posted on her Instagram Stories together with screenshots of her guesting.
Not Hocance But Scance (English title: Not Hotelcation but Staycation) is produced by Box Media and hosted by K-drama actress Ye Ji Won and SISTAR member Soyou.
Liza was also joined by other guest celebrities including former Kara members Nicole Jung and Kang Ji Young.
“Thank you to the hosts and guests of the show for making the experience fun and comfortable!” she continued while tagging the Korean hosts.
The clip shows Soberana walking towards the hosts and joining them over a barbeque meal while talking about her visit to Korea.
"Kinda vacation, kind of work," Liza replied. "I'm just exploring Seoul and I'm a huge fan of K-pop and K-dramas so I wanna try to find work here."
After introducing herself as an actress in the Philippines, Soyou complimented Liza on her "young face," as she was donning a green blazer for a semi-casual/semi-formal look.
Liza also expressed her love for South Korean culture and shared that she likes to watch random South Korean variety shows to get a feel of the culture by immersing herself in Korean entertainment since she was 11.
The actress has also been seen hanging out and doing collaborations with South Korean stars like former 2PM member and the founder and former CEO of hip-hop labels AOMG and H1gher Music Jay Park, and DK of IKON in a TikTok challenge.
Soberano went with her CEO James Reid and did the beatbox challenge with Korean beatboxer J-COP.
