South Korean co-stars-turned-couple Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin announced their baby’s gender who is expected to be born on December
Real life celebrity couple Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin are expecting a baby boy and the actress is due to give birth on December, according to an exclusive report by a Korean media outlet today.
The news was then confirmed by Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin’s respective agencies.
"Son Ye-jin will be giving birth in December and the baby is a boy," Son's agency MSteam Entertainment said.
Meanwhile, VAST Entertainment, Hyun Bin’s agency, confirmed the news, announcing to Korean media that their baby will be a second-generation son and is expected to be born in December.
The couple starred in the hit Korean drama “Crash Landing on You,” and shortly confirmed that the two are in a romantic relationship, much to the delight of the fans of the hugely successful show.
Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin tied the knot in a lavish but intimate wedding in Seoul last March 31 with their family and closest friends by their side.
On April 11, they flew to Los Angeles for their honeymoon, where they spent 17 days away from the Korean public eye and enjoyed themselves in the US before returning to South Korea on April 28.
Just a month after the couple’s return to the country, Son Ye-jin announced in a social media post that she is pregnant with her first child, three months after the wedding.
“Hello everyone, how have you been? I’m doing great. Today, I want to carefully but happily share an announcement to you all. We [Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin] are expecting a new life soon,” she wrote.
“For fans who have been waiting for this news just as much as we are, I’m informing this news to you all before it gets later. We will take a good care of the precious life that has come to us. I hope you will also take care of the things that are precious ones in your life, and stay healthy. Let’s be happy,” she proudly announced.
According to her agency, Son Ye-jin is “currently in very good health” and is calmly preparing for the birth of their child, while Hyun Bin recently wrapped up his promotions for his new film 'Confidential Assignment 2'.
