What more can the controversial “Katips: The Movie” ask for when it is raking moolah at the tills?

Is it the many invitations to be shown abroad?

This early, there are queues of requests of bookings from various parts of the globe to bring the film to as many viewers—Filipinos or not—as possible.

According to OJ Arci, one of the bigwigs of Philstagers Film Productions, there are many interested parties from around the world who are negotiating with the company for the screening of “Katips: The Movie” as soon as possible.

“May Dubai po kami. Tapos, tumawag na rin ang New Zealand. Tapos, ang Japan. Sa US po, meron na rin. May Europe na rin po. Marami pa po. Hindi ko na nga po matandaan ang iba (We have a schedules screening in Dubai. Then, there are people in New Zealand who are asking us for bookings. Then, there are requests from Japan and the US. There are interested parties from Europe who want the film shown there. There are a lot of them. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember all of them),” OJ chuckled.

At the moment, Arci and the rest of the production people of Philstagers are meeting prospective bookers online and in-person.

“Katips: The Movie” is a musical drama that tackles the horrors of Martial Law.

It stars Vince Tañada, Nicole Laurel Asencio, Jerome Ponce, Mon Confiado, Johnrey Rivas, among others.
