The OPM singer-songwriter Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo made history following his phenomenal newest single, "ERE,” entering Spotify’s Global Chart. The breakthrough hit of JK becomes the first original Pilipino music (OPM) to enter the international music chart.
According to Chart Data on X (formerly Twitter), it entered the Global Spotify Chart with 1.22 streams, ranked No. 177. The song also made an impressive jump, securing the No. 87 spot with 1.45 million streams. This also made history by reaching the Top 100 of the Global Spotify Chart.
This Filipino hit now holds the record for the highest all-time single-day stream with 1.392 million on Spotify Philippines. This exceeds the song “Mine” by Taylor Swift.
On the other hand, JK cannot contain excitement after being noticed by Lukas Graham, who invited him to perform during their Manila concert.
