After his long absence from the music scene and a hiatus in the US, Jericho Rosales is back with a vengeance.

Having a solid pop background as a member of a band called SOS and as a recording artist in the millennium, Jericho missed singing.

So when the role of Tony Javier, the manipulative boarder in the Marasigan's household in the stage musical "Contra Mundum, Ang Larawan The Concert," a spinoff from "Ang Larawan" the movie and adapted from National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin's literary theater masterpiece "Portrait of the Artist as Filipino," he didn't mince words and accepted the project right away.

Rosales alternates with Paulo Avelino and Ricky Davao as Tony.

The stage play, scheduled to run at the Metropolitan Theater on May 6, 2023 and featured an all-star cast including Bea Alonzo, Karylle Tatlonghari, Rachel Alejandro, Agot Isidro, Dulce, Bituin Escalante, Celeste Legaspi, among others, is directed by Chris Millado with Ryan Cayabyab as conductor for the live music of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) and Alice Reyes as choreographer, both National Artists for Music and Dance, respectively.
