It has been actress Janice Jurado's dream to be in any of actor Coco Martin's television shows since ABS-CBN's "Ang Probinsiyano" hit the airwaves.
Janice was patient enough, though, about being given the chance to interact with Coco on and off-cam.
She knew the politics involved in her trying hard to push her way through not just to be with Martin in any ways but in all drama series in all TV stations.
"Ganyan ang pulitika d'yan, e. Sasabihan ako na kukunin ako sa isang programa. Ako naman, masaya. Pero huwag ka, may mga tao sa produksyon na kokontrahin ang pagkuha sa akin. Sisiraan ako. Sasabihin, naku, adik 'yan. Naku, nambibitin 'yan. Mga gano'n ba. Wala namang katotohanan (That's how politics works there. You'd be informed that a TV program wanted you. On my end, I would be happy. But behind your back, there are production people who would go against you. They would say, hey, she's a drug addict. Hey, she stands up a shooting schedule. Those things, you know which aren't true)," lamented Janice.
This time, though, it's for real.
Janice recently paid Coco a visit on the set of "Batang Quiapo" in the heart of the district.
It was a triumphant negotiation between Coco and Janice.
The actress would be given a substantial role in the series which prompted her to exclaim:
"Thanks a lot, Coco, for trusting me. I won't break your trust in me."
Anytime, Janice will be sent a call slip to report for shoots in the teleserye.
