As soon as Emma Ferro, younger sister of the late veteran and award-winning actress Angie Ferro, blurted out her sentiments and observations against Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando and Asia's Sentimental Songstress Imelda Papin, we immediately called on them.

We texted Daniel about the incident that he promised Angie a visit obviously at her sickbed in the series of her hospitalizations but he hasn't returned our message until now.

Meanwhile, we initially called Imelda on her cellphone but she didn't respond at once.

So we called on Imelda's younger sister, Aileen Grace Arcilla Papin, who readily picked the Facebook audio call right away.

We told Aileen about the complaint of Emma about the non-appearance of La Papin in any occasion involving Angie.

"Hindi po namin alam na patay na si Tita Angie (We aren't aware Tita—a term of endearment to an older woman or an aunt by blood or affinity—has died already)," exclaimed Aileen on the other end of the audio call.
It was coincidental that Imelda was near Grace Arcilla Papin's location. "Nandito po si Ate sa (Ate—a term of endearment to an older sister by blood or affinity) speaker phone)," informed Aileen.

"Wala akong kaalam-alam sa mga nangyayari kay (I didn't have any knowledge of what's happening to (Tita Angie). I was not informed of her hospitalization or her death. No one told us until now," defended Mel.

"Kung ako talaga ang may alam at nangako ako na pupuntahan siya, gagawin ko. Wala kaming pinagsasabihan (If I was the one who knew and promised to pay her a visit, I would fulfill it. We didn't even delegated anyone to tell the relatives of Tita Angie that we would be coming to her sickbed or to her funeral)," clarified the singer.

According to Imelda, she and Aileen are ready to extend their help to the Ferros.

I reminded them and even rubbed in that when entertainment journalists Dennis Adobas and Mario V. Dumaual died La Papin sent her financial support to the bereaved families of the two writers.

"Paki-paliwanag mo na lang sa viewers ninyo ni Art Tapalla na wala akong pangako sa mga Ferro at handa akong tumulong sa kanila at lagi akong tumutulong sa mga kapatid natin sa hanapbuhay (Please explain to your viewers that I am willing to support the Ferros and I am always ready to help our brothers and sisters in the industry in need)," said Imelda.

Aileen also asked where to contact the family of Angie.

Angie Ferro passed on August 17 and was cremated on August 22, 2023.
