Miss Grand Philippines 2023, Nikki De Moura, penned a heartfelt message over the result of the Miss Grand International 2023 final night. Peruvian beauty queen Luciana Fuster was crowned the 11th Miss Grand International, the second MGI crown for Peru. Among the final five, Ni Ni Lin Eain of Myanmar is the 1st runner-up, Maria Alejandra Lopez of Colombia is the 2nd runner-up, Stephanie Marie of the USA is the 3rd runner-up, and Vietnam’s Bet Le Hoang Phuong is the 4th runner-up. Philippines Bet, on the other hand, did not make the final 20.

Despite that, Nikki “choose gratitude”. On her Instagram, Nikki shared her sentiments over the conclusion of the Miss Grand International 2023 final night in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

“I poured my heart and soul into representing [the] Philippines, and my heart ached with disappointment. But even in the face of this heartache, I choose gratitude. Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and I’m determined to make the most of every moment. I understand I may still be young, [but] I will continue to work hard and grow because I believe that disappointment is only a stepping stone to future success," Nikki wrote on her Instagram.

“This is not the end… just the start of something greater, and I’m excited to see where life’s adventures will take me. Now, I stand before you, not as a part of the top 20, but as someone who gave her all PH #missgrandinternational2023”- Nikki further wrote.

Nikki also extends her gratitude to the Miss Grand Philippines team for supporting her over her MGI journey. She has always been honored with full pride and gratitude for representing the Philippines on the international stage.
