After more than three decades in the local acting game, actress Glenda Garcia finally got her most cherished role in a teleserye.

Although she has meaty performances in the past which are still airing on TV, Glenda's role as the foster parent of a unique actress in the TV drama "Lilet Matias, Attorney-at-Law" (which premieres at 3:20 in the daily afternoon prime of GMA Network on March 4), makes for her an unparalleled thespic chops.

"Ibang klase ang role ko rito sa 'Lilet Matias.' Grabe ang characterization ko rito. Talagang pinaarte ako nang todo ni Direk Adolf Alix, Jr. At gusto ko ang mga motivation niya sa akin. Grabe (My role in the shoe is a different one. My characterization here is something else. Director Adolf really made me fully act here. I liked the way he motivated me. Great)," exclaimed Glenda at the funeral wake of sexy actress Vida Verde's eldest sister, Yolanda Mejia.

According to Garcia, she portrays a considerate foster mom to the socially discriminated Lilet Matias being played by Jo Berry, a diminutive actress whose acting career was launched via "Onanay" with the formidable support of Superstar Nora Aunor.

"Yes, guest namin sa show si Ate Guy (Elder sister by affinity or common reference Guy iz a guest in our drama show)," said Glenda, younger sister of actress Melissa Mendez.

The television drama is her biggest break so far in her career.

It will once more prove the versatility and durability of the star in Glenda Garcia who deserves more challenging acting projects.
