Filipino actor and hearttrob of the 1990s Patrick Guzman died in Canada.
The news was revealed by actress Beverly Vergel who had very memorable experiences with Patrick while they were in the Philippines.
Patrick was a sought after young star who was signed up with OctoArts Films.
According to Beverly, she could not forget the time he talked and hired Patrick to star in a film she directed.
"Sabi niya hindi siya pang-comedy kaya nag-workshop kami (He said he wasn't tailored to be a comedian so he underwent an acting workshop)," recalled Vergel who is now based in the US.
Bev said Patrick was Canada's Piolo Pascual.
He is survived by wife Liezl and son Aeden.
No other details were provided by the family on the demise of Patrick.
