In their music video for “Don’t Fight The Feeling,” EXO members D.O., Kai, Baekhyun, Lay, Xiumin, Sehun and Chanyeol are seen exploring the universe in a spaceship with their intergalactic moves to go along with the harmonies.
K-Pop sensation boy group EXO made its long-awaited comeback dropping a special 5-track album including the music video of their title track “Don’t Fight the Feeling” on Monday.
The special album is the group's first in 18 months, with "Obsession," a studio album released back in November 2019, as their last released material as a group.
The group also launched a special web arcade game called “EXO-SHIP SAGA”, together with the teasers, posters and character clips, where fans will be rewarded with an album-related image once they reach the target score
In the music video for the title track, members D.O., Kai, Baekhyun, Lay, Xiumin, Sehun and Chanyeol are seen exploring the universe in a spaceship with their intergalactic moves to go along with the harmonies.
EXO currently has five active members: Xiumin, Lay, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. Leader Suho, along with Chen, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol who are now enlisted in the military.
Both Baekhyun and Chanyeol participated in the production and preparation for the new album before rendering their service.
EXO-Ls, the fanbase of EXO, are also looking forward to the comeback of some members for Don’t Fight The Feeling as this will be Xiumin and D.O.'s first album comeback since they finished their military service in December 2020 and January 2021, respectively.
While for Lay, Don’t Fight The Feeling will be his first album promotion with the group after three years after spending some time in China when Obsession was released in November 2019.
Aside from the title track, the “Dont Fight the Feeling” album contains four other songs, namely "Paradise," "No Matter," "Runaway," and 'Just As Usual."
As of writing, the music video has garnered 13,524,393 views and 2.2M likes while the group also dominated the Philippines’ Twitter trends with 14 topics related to them in the top 20 at their peak.
Before the official music video came out, the MV teaser for EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" has become the most liked and most commented from SM Entertainment.(NP)
