Sexy actress and comedienne Janice Jurado will plunge once more into marriage after being a widow for years.
According to Janice, she is firm on her decision to tie the knot anew, this time with a man she has known for over a year.
The guy’s name is Melo Babalo, a native of Batanes, north of the Philippines.
“Magpapakasal ako pero dito sa Maynila. Kasi, ang kaugalian pala sa Batanes, pag ikinasal sa roon, sa panig ng babae, wala siyang karapatan sa mga mana na makukuha ng asawang babae (I will get married in Manila. It is because the tradition in Batanes is that if your wedding is officiated there, the woman espouse has no right to the inheritance she is entitled),” said Janice.
She assured, however, that she loves the man she will walk down the aisle with.
There is no definite date yet of the wedding but according to the actress, it is planned for next year.
Janice is flying to Batanes next week to celebrate the birthday of her fiancé.
Jurado clarified that Melo is a single man.
“As long as there is love, sex is no problem,” she added.
