It’s sad, but actress Mara Lopez won’t be able to see her dad, Hiroshi Yokohama, when she walks the aisle of her garden wedding on Monday, November 25, 2024 at the Pangulasian Island in El Nido, Palawan.
“Hiroshi will be in Japan,” volunteered beauty queen-actress Maria Isabel Lopez, Mara’s mom, about the non-appearance of her former husband in the wedding.
“But it’s okay with Mara,” assured Maria Isabel in an online chat.
According to Maribel, Hiroshi is fine and doesn’t get hurt that he can’t go to his daughter’s wedding.
“It’s ok for Mara but she is spending time with her father and taking him on a surfing tour,” explained the older Lopez.
In an Instagram post, Mara, Mara Isabella Lopez Yokohama, her dad is her fan and surfing buddy.
It was Hiroshi who influenced Mara in sea sports.
Meanwhile, the bride’s younger brother, her only sibling and her mom will walk her to the aisle.
Mara is getting married to her fiancé Chandler Booth, a young American businessman based in New York.
