After a successful Queens and Blooms Festival held at Market! Market! last May 6 where he showcased his artistic creations on exotic gowns for Mayflower celebrations, young fashion designer Erick Valeña is set to steal the scene anew in another Santacruzan fete.
This time it will be in Rizal Park organized by the National Parks Development Board (NPDB) on May 13 at 6 pm.
Dubbed "Flores y Moda de Mayo," Erick will display his new art works in frocks designed exclusively for muses or models expressing their spiritual penchants for the Biblical characters and historical figures led and personified by Queen Helena and her search for the Cross which was exemplified and handed in to her son Constantine.
Whereas Valeña took in beauty queen material Toni Carpio as sagala and 2023 Mr. Earth Saver Philippines Nathaniel del Rosario as escort during the Queens and Blooms fest, he promises to bring more models and talents to wear his new Santacruzan garb concepts.
After the show, Erick's past Mayflower gowns will be exhibited at the Luneta Visitors' Room.
