Ellen Adarna gets her implants removed
Actress Ellen Adarna shared through her Instagram account that she’s now “breast implant illness” free as she gets rid of her silicone implants after experiencing chronic back pain and fatigue.
In her Instagram stories on Sunday, May 8, the actress expressed her relief after her chest size has been reduced after removing the implants.
“Goodbye breast implant illness, I can now breathe properly. Goodbye chronic back pain, fatigue, and brain fog” her post read.
“It was fun while it lasted… The end,” Adarna added.
Breast implant illness is a common and inevitable side effect after getting a boob job through cosmetic augmentation and the symptoms may differ from one case to another.
Following the surgery, Adarna’s husband, Derek Ramsay, apparently gave her a cake with icing on top that read, “I miss your old boobs,” as seen also in her Instagram Stories last Sunday.
In her other IG stories, she also shared an adorable conversation with Elias—her son with John Lloyd Cruz, in which she told her son that she has lost her boobs.
“My boobs are smaller na!” Ellen told Elias, who then adorably cried. “But there’s still a little!” she said to comfort her son.
In a later post, Elias was seen playing with her silicone implants.
“Those were my boobs, uy! Hala, wala na big boobs!” she captioned the story.
The sexy actress has always been open about going under the knife to have her breasts enlarged, starting when she was featured in a beauty clinic’s Women’s Month campaign for breast augmentation surgery.
In a 2015 video, she was featured saying that she preferred to go for it instead of wearing “a lot of silicone paddings.”
Other Filipinas have also opened up about removing their breast implants and breast implant illness such as former actress Michelle Madrigal suffered from constant chest pain, pushing her to have them removed by 2019 and Rica Peralejo, who had her breasts done at age 18, chose to remove it when she gave birth to her second child.
