Where in the world are famous Filipino stars Eddie Mesa, the Elvis Presley of the Philippines of yore and Rosemarie Gil, an award-winning actress?
Eddie and Rosemarie, of course, are a popular couple in the Philippines.
But their fans miss them sorely?
Are they not going to make movies or TV dramas because Eddie, aside from singing, is also a disciple in acting.
Rosemarie, though, had a stint in doing teleseryes for ABS-CBN, the latest, of course, was "Ngayon at Kailanman" during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gil and Mesa, of course, are the celebrity parents of Michael de Mesa and the late Mark Gil and Cherie Gil.
They are the grandparents of sought after actors and actresses Sid Lucero, Ryan Eigenmann, Goeff Eigenmann, Gabby Eigenmann, Andi Eigenmann and Max Eigenmann.
Tita (a term of endearment to an older woman by affinity or aunt by blood) Rose and Tito (an expression to an older man by affinity or uncle by blood) Eddie are now based in the US but they see to it to go home once in a while to reunite with their members of the family.
The couple was in town recently to grace the birthday party of their daughter-in-law actress Irene Celebre who has a son, Gabby, with Mark.
I met them and excitedly learned that they loved Siargao when they paid a visit to their granddaughter Andi and grandchildren Elle, Koa and Lilo.
"Oh! We love it there," Rose exclaimed, especially being with their grandkids.
If given another chance, they would want to revisit Siargao not only for its natural beauty but the wonder of their kinship.
Eddie is a pastor.
During Irene's birthday, he led the doxology for the celebrator.
Show business, indeed, misses Eddie and Rose sorely.
