An art work on exhibit at “Hele,” a visual treat at ARTablado Gallery of Lopenze Artists from Lopez, Quezon was bought by an “Eat Bulaga” executive.
This was learned by OpinYon news online from a mole who had been frequenting the art exhibit at the Robinsons Galleria since October 1 until mid-October.
One of the titles from “Things we learn as a child” series by artist Gem Suguitan was bought by an executive, who requested anonymity, of the GMA Network noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”
“Hele” is an exhibition of the current creations of Lopenze Artists, founded by Tres Roman, as a tribute to children. According to the statement of the group, “Hele” signifies lullaby and speaks of the various experiences of Filipino kids, their play, values, innocence and vulnerability.
The seven Lopenze Artists are Suguitan, Roman, Jopeth Buñag, Jay Mar Valdoria, Aann Reynales, Justine Olivarez and Cherryl Valencia.
