Visitors at Universal Studios Japan can now experience the fluid swordsmanship, and even the breathing, of the hero Tanjiro Kamado and his fellow demon slayers amid fierce battles that unfold before their very eyes.

READY to feel the killer moves of Tanjiro Kamado?

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) officially opened the Demon Slayer-themed ride from the popular manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba last September 17.

According to USJ, park goers can now experience the fluid swordsmanship, and even the breathing, of the hero Tanjiro Kamado and his fellow demon slayers amid fierce battles that unfold before their very eyes.

The attraction, which will mark the first time the western Japan theme park has recreated the global hit series that was also adapted into an animation, will run until February 13 2021.

The roller coaster “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride” mimics the steam locomotive “Mugen Train” in the series, and passengers will be able to enjoy the images and voices of hero Tanjiro Kamado and other characters such as Kyojuro Rengoku who are fighting demons.

“Demon Slayer” is set in Japan around 100 years ago and tells the story of Kamado, an adolescent boy fighting human-eating demons while searching for a cure for his sister, who has turned into a demon.

The manga series has been translated into several languages.

Rengoku is a central character in the blockbuster animated film “Demon Slayer — Kimetsu No Yaiba — The Movie: Mugen Train.”

Its story centers on Kamado’s efforts to save the lives of passengers aboard the “Mugen Train,” named after the word for “infinity,” on which countless people have gone missing.

Along with the ride, USJ also opened Fuji no Hana Shokujidokoro, or Wisteria Restaurant.

Decked out with an ethereal motif inspired by the anime’s mystical flowers and featuring a Taisho-era interior aesthetic, the eatery will offer a menu with set meals, drinks, and desserts paying homage to the Demon Slayer Corps’ Hashira members.
