After Emma Ferro, the late Angie Ferro’s sister, accused Daniel Fernando — Governor of Bulacan Province — of non-appearance in Angie’s critical health condition and subsequent death, we sent a text message in his cellphone about it.
“Darating daw si Daniel Fernando at nag-intay kami. Wala namang Daniel Fernandong dumating (Daniel Fernando would allegedly come and we waited. No Daniel Fernando appeared),” ranted Emma at the funeral wake of her elder sister at the new chapel of St. Peter Chapels along Scout Chuatoco in Quezon City on Monday.
It was uncertain, though, if Daniel’s no-show stint was at Angie’s sickbed or her wake.
Based on the chronology of her storytelling, Emma was vaguely mentioning a hospital where she was problematic about the short of payment for Angie’s treatment before the patient could be discharged from.
Although the governor had sent a bouquet of flowers for the dead, Emma was still ranting about it. “Ito, naglakad ang mga bulaklak (Here, the flowers walked through),” she jeered.
Until now, Governor Fernando hasn’t replied to my text message to him, although, according to Emma, she lost her cell phone right in the middle of the funeral chapel.
“Baka naman nando’n ang tawag ni Daniel (Maybe his call was coursed through the lost cellphone),” entertainment writer Art Tapalla and I surmised.
The younger sister of Angie was deadpan anyway.
According to Emma, Fernando was one of acting coach Angie Ferro’s students in her class in preparation for his film shoots in the past.
