Popular comedian and impersonator Willie Nepomuceno died early morning of July 26, in a still an undisclosed place and unknown cause of his death.
This was posted in Willie Nepomuceno’s Facebook on the same date by his kid.
“To our family, loved ones, and friends, It is with deep sadness and heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved father, WILLIE NEPOMUCENO, on July 26, 2023, at the age of 75. He has peacefully joined our Creator. Details of his wake will be announced soon. We ask for your continued prayers. Thank you very much,” noted in the social media spaces.
Willie, known nationally as Willie Nep, was an admired impersonator and satirist of such big named celebrities from politics to sports to showbiz to religion etc.
He impersonated Joseph Estrada, Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., Fidel Ramos, Rodrigo Duterte, Dolphy, Manny Pacquiao, Jaime Cardinal Sin, among others.
According to Rey Martin Bustra David, one time massager of Nepomuceno on TV and movie sets, the remains of the comedian will lie in state starting today, July 27, at 3 pm, at the Paket Santiago Funeral Homes in San Roque, Marikina City.
