How can a comedian fit into a clan get-together when he is a kid trapped in a body of an adult?
Who would he be speaking to?
What about if the participants and guests are all mature persons?
How could Bokyo imagine himself if there would no kids around to perform to and stir their curiosity?
This is the challenge Bokyo is faced with when he performs for the Villasanta Clan Reunion at the Lopez, Quezon Credit Cooperative (LQCC) Hall in Lopez on December 30.
"I hope the elderlies or the moms and dads who would join the reunion would bring along their kids so that they would enjoy the fun," said Bokyo.
"Well, I think that even if there would be no children on the ground, the audience will enjoy Bokyo," he said confidently.
Bokyo was a sensation in the millennium when there was no Bentot or Bondying anymore.
"I also think people in the provinces would appreciate Bokyo because he's a novelty," quipped Bokyo.
"The late Mar Lopez of Tatlong Pinoy was one of the patrons of Bokyo. Kuya (a term of endearment for an old man by birth or by affinity) Mar loved Bokyo very much. I miss him so much," he recalled.
