Once an actress, always an actress.

Comebacking star Myrna Casillo, the so-called Sinderela ng Tondo simply embodies the adage.

Even if Myrna had done several daring sex scenes in the past, the acting bug in her has always been stirred by well-meaning colleagues in the entertainment industry.

For one, ABS-CBN's action teleseye "Batang Quiapo" never lets its casting stone unturned just to accommodate Castillo's talent.

Not only its star and one of its directors Coco Martin has sent Myrna call slips to take on one of the significant roles in the TV drama--a mom of one of Tanggol's (played by Coco) friends.

Apart from him, former ABS-CBN executive and award-winning actress Charon Santos-Concio has commended the production's initiative to cast in Castillo.

"Pagkatapos ng eksena namin ni Ma"am Charo, niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit at nagpasalamat siya. Malaking bagay sa akin 'yon (After our scene together, she hugged me tightly and thanked me so much. That meant so much to me)," admitted Myrna who has been jobless for years although her family could support her.
"Masaya ang pagbabalik ko nang dahil kay (My comeback is happy because of) Ma"am Charo," quipped Myrna teary-eyed both for Santos-Concio's welcoming her on the set and mourning the death of fellow actress Angela Perez at the funeral wake of the latter at Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque City.
