Arts manager and founder of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) Cecile Guidote-Alvarez admitted that the late movie, stage and theater artist Angie Ferro is her Best Friend Forever (BFF).
"Sobra pa kaming magkapatid. Kulang na lang na isinilang kami ng iisang ina. Siya ang tagapagtanggol ko sa mga umaapi sa akin (We're more than friends. The only difference was that we were born to separate mothers. She defended me against my critics)," Cecil exalted.
The death of veteran and award-winning actor Robert Arevalo recently also made Cecil cry a river.
"I admire and respect Robert in many ways. Didn't you know that he was the first actor of PETA when we were still at the Fort Santiago in the late sixties?" revealed Guidote-Alvarez in our exclusive interview with fellow entertainment journalist in the online show "The National Entertainment Today" at the Media House Express.
"Because of Angie and Robert's for the arts and country I am giving them tributes in my radio show 'Radyo Balintataw' over DZRH tomorrow night at 7," announced Cecile.
