Cebu music festival, PLUS63, makes a comeback

PLUS63 Festival to make its comeback on February 2023 at the SM Seaside Cebu with 88Rising’s Joji and R&B singer Kehlani as the headliners.

PLUS63, a Cebu-based music festival is returning this February after three years of absence in the music scene.

88Rising’s Joji and American R&B singer, songwriter, and dancer Kehlani are set to headline PLUS63 2023 at the SM Seaside Complex on February 18 and will be produced by Insignia Presents.

Meanwhile Filipino pop singer-songwriter Paul Pablo, indie pop Cebu-based bands The Sundown, Sansette, and DJ Short will complete the star-studded lineup as reported by GMA News.

Joji will be back in the Philippines for a second time in a span of a few months as the singer-songwriter is also set to take the stage at the Head in The Clouds Festival happening on December 9 and 10 at the SM Festival Grounds in Parañaque alongside Jackson Wang, NIKI, Rich Brian and more.

Kehlani is also set to stage shows in the region for the Asian Leg of her own tour which will start next February in Jakarta on February 4, before heading to Singapore, Taiwan, Seoul, Tokyo, and lastly in the Philippines for the PLUS63 Festival according to NME.

Tickets to the festival will be going on sale on November 26 at 11 a.m. through PLUS63Festival.com as announced by the concert producer but specific details regarding the process and guidelines are yet to be released.

The PLUS63 Music and Arts Festival has been bringing in international acts and local talents together for the event since its inception in 2016.

Some of the past artists that have graced the festival are Steve Aoki, Lany, Kid Ink, Dada Life, and more

Also according to NME, the last edition of PLUS63 Festival took place in February 2020, just a month prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with the American pop band LANY as the headliners.
