Young GMA Network contract artist Jak Roberto has recently pronounced his girlfriend fellow actor Barbie Forteza is indeed “the one” for the rest of his life.
Celebrating their fourth year anniversary as sweethearts, Jak was very happy to have Barbie as his “other half” after all these years of togetherness.
The two love birds met and nurtured their affair when they were doing the romance drama on television, “Meant to Be,” aired over Channel 7 about four years ago. It was a romance made in heaven, as they say, because it was a smooth-sailing real and reel courtship from the first time they laid their eyes on each other in several scenes. Many of its sequences on cam were the pursuits of Jak with fellow actors Addy Raj, Ken Chan and Ivan Dorschner on Barbie as a catch. It was equally distributed roles for these young actors in winning Forteza’s heart for they all had pretty lovable endings with their destined partners or Barbie didn’t end up with any of them she instead gave each one (including the audience) a piece of her advice that one has someone “meant to be.”
This Barbie Forteza starrer on GMA Network has toppled ABS-CBN’s teleserye of James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s “Till I Met You” at the ratings game.
At the moment, Jak and Barbie are steadfast as a love team in real and reel lives.
Would this four-year bond end up on the matrimonial altar?
“Let’s wait and see,” Roberto replied in an interview.
Currently, the lovers are enjoying each moment because as they say, they still have to wait for the right time to settle down. Jak jokingly said in an interview with entertainment journalist Allan Policarpio of the Philippine Daily Inquirer that they have to raise at least P20M to get married.
