Anime voice actors Ayana Taketatsu and Yuki Kaji to welcome first child after being married for 3 years

Japanese voice actors Ayana Taketatsu and Yuki Kaji announced they are expecting their first child in handwritten notes posted on their respective Twitter accounts on Thursday.

Taketatsu’s note revealed that they initially planned to keep the news a secret until she gave birth, but the effects of pregnancy are getting more obvious and are now affecting her schedule.

She assured her supporters that she will still try to do as much work as possible and as safely as she can by considering her body’s state.

Kaji gave his gratitude to everyone who has adjusted to meet their needs in scheduling and added that since he is a first time dad, he is still a bit confused.

“We look forward to your continued support for our activities as two voice actors,” Kaji wrote in Japanese, thanking their fans as he ended his letter.

The couple have been married since 2019 and registered their marriage on June 23c Taketatsu’s 30th birthday.

Kaji is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer and has starred in several anime series, films, video games, and live action movies since 2006 and is now famously known for his work on hit series Attack on Titan as Eren Yeager.

Taketatsu is also a Japanese voice actress, prominently known as Azusa Nakano in K-On, who also has her singing career as a member of the music group Hokago Tea Time.

She has participated in seven singles and one album, even winning Best Musical Performance with her music group in the 4th Seiyu Awards in 2010.

Among other projects, they starred together in High School DxD as Koneko Tojo and Issei Hyodo and in Guilty Crown where they voiced Tsumugi and Shu Oma respectively.
