Didn’t you know that the Amazing Diva Armie Zuñiga is from Calauag, Quezon?

Yes, you heard it right.

I discovered Armie when she was a fourth year high school student in Calauag to perform and interpret songs of Asia’s Timeless Diva Dulce in the concert billed “A Tribute to Dulce and Rey Valera” with Dulce, Rey and the interpreters of their songs Michael Laygo, Ma-an Dionisio, Neil Sevilla, among others.

Zuñiga (no relation to Nonoy Zuñiga although they’re both from the south—Armie’s dad’s from the Visayas—and they’ve already met) has the powerful voice of Dulce, the beauty of Zsa Zsa Padilla, Angeline Quinto and the Didith Reyes.

Not a few say Armie is a dead ringer of Didith not only in countenance but in singing as well. As a matter of fact, she had a tribute show to Reyes in 2014, “Remembering Didith Reyes” at the Mowelfund Plaza.
