Empire Philippines officially has unveiled the crowns to the first set of winners in last year's Miss Philippines and Mister Pilipinas Worldwide during the inaugural Filipino Festival last Sunday, February 18.
The appointment was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Manila, back-to-back with the official presentation of candidates for Miss Universe Philippines 2024.
It is indeed true that the reigning Miss Philippines 2023, Alethea Ambrosio, has a remarkable footstep to follow as she succeeded one of the Philippines most sought-after beauty queens, Pauline Amelinckx, as the 1st Miss Philippines.
Now, she will represent the country at the upcoming Miss Supranational 2024.

The new half of Supra Duo is Brandon Espiritu, the reigning Mister Pilipinas Worldwide, who will succeed Johannes Rissler as Mister Pilipinas Supranational 2024.
Aside from him, his fellow title holders will also join in several international pageants, including Dom Corilla as Mister Pilipinas Global 2024; Justine Ong as Mister Pilipinas International Ambassador 2024; Emerson Gomez as Mister Pilipinas Cosmopolitan 2024; Anthony Cunningham as Mister Pilipinas Man of the Year 2024; and Jordan San Juan as Mister Pilipinas Manhunt Supermodel 2024.
During the event, Miss Universe Philippines also presented the 55 candidates who will contend to succeeding Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee.
The candidates are composed of pageant newbies and pageant veterans, including Miss International 2018 1st Runner Up, Ahtisa Manalo, to represent Quezon Province, among others.
It is also the first time the Miss Universe Philippines will have representatives from the Filipino communities abroad, including candidates from Southern California, Sydney, Virginia, Australia, Florida, Hawaii, Miami, Northern California, the United Kingdom, and Washington.
