Adam Levine is being accused of having an affair with social media influencer Sumner Stroh after the latter posted a TikTok that went viral with screenshots of their alleged conversations.
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is being accused of infidelity after a TikTok of social media influencer Sumner Stroh became viral claiming that she and the singer had a year-long affair.
“I was having an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At that time, I was young, I was naive, and I mean, quite frankly, I [felt] exploited,” she said in a viral TikTok video
Stroh even showed some receipts as she revealed a couple messages that the two shared wherein one of the conversations was about Levine asking Stroh if it would be okay for him to name his unborn child after her.
The model even said that one of her friends tried to sell the screenshots to a tabloid but then clarified that she is definitely not trying to gain sympathy out of this fiasco.
“I fully realize I’m not the victim of this. I’m not the one who’s really getting hurt here. It’s Behati and her children, and for that, I’m so, so sorry,” she said.
The 43-year-old singer then broke his silence just a day after the rumors began spreading and said that he has been taking "proactive steps" to repair his marriage with Behati Prinsloo
"A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.”
“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life,” Levine wrote in an Instagram story on Tuesday, September 20.
He went on to say that the only people that he cares about right now are his wife and his family and he regrets risking his relationship with them during that time.
"To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together."
