Youth-laden series ‘Tara, G!’ will dive into friendships and love built in adversity set in a fictional place of La Guerta.
ABS-CBN’s Star Creatives will launch a youth-oriented show called ‘Tara, G!’ starring JC Alcantara, Daniela Stranner, Anthony Jennings, Kaori Oinuma, Zach Castañeda, CJ Salonga and Vivoree Esclito.
The series is set in a fictional place of La Guerta where a bunch of teenagers with different characters and ways of living will explore a whole new world of friendship with a touch of their love lives.
The I Want TFC series casts Oinuma, Esclito, Alcantara and Jennings who share their thoughts on the new project and experiences during their lock-in tapings, and the memories they have shared while in the process of shooting in Star Magic’s Inside News.
"Masaya kasi lahat kami magkakapatid sa Rise (Artists) so hindi na bago sa amin 'yung characters, konting adjustment na lang ganyan at super nagtutulungan lahat," Oinuma shared.
The new series dropped their first trailer where the almost two minute video opened with a nostalgic montage of “barkadahans” in Philippine television throughout the years, highlighting the loveteams of Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin, Heart Evangelista and John Prats, and Kathryn Bernardo with real-life partner Daniel Padilla, among others.
Shows featured in the trailer were ‘Gimik’ (1996), ‘G-mik’(1999), ‘Tabing Ilog’(1999), ‘Berks’(2000), and ‘Growing Up’(2011).
The trailer then transitions to scenes from the new series, showing how strong their bond is while showing a bit of the struggle that they will encounter throughout the show.
"We had so much fun shooting it. Lalo na't iba ang weather kasi mas malamig doon. Pero minsan it's not fun anymore kasi sobrang lamig na nanginginig ka na. Hindi mo na maramdaman 'yung buto mo, lamang-loob mo, pero since we all wanted to have fun while shooting it 'yun ang na-achieve din namin at I am sure 'yun din ang makikita ng viewers namin, 'yung fun, 'yung bond namin na hindi lang nangyari on screen but also off screen," Esclito also shared for her part.
