Finally, GMA Network contract artist and entertainment reporter Joe Barrameda’s discovery that Jeric Gonzales admitted he and 2020 Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Rabiya Mateo are lovers.

After a series of giving the public a riddle of their own romance, the two, particularly Jeric, had solved the puzzle and announced their official status.

From now on, we will see more of Gonzales and Mateo in the news as picture perfect of sweet love. It’s a sign of a never-ending good vibes and wonderful feeling of being cared for by someone.

In her social media posts, Rabiya breathtakingly captioned her photo with boyfriend, thus:

“Live. LOVE. Laugh. Thank you, Eric.”

On the other side of the love mountain, springs a moment-to-moment heartbeat creating ripples of the past and present in their love diary. According to Jeric, their togetherness means

“To more memories with you. I love you.”

Meanwhile, the bad news:

The ugly face of love are the etches of physical and emotional pains suffered by model-actress Ana Jalandoni from the hands of her boyfriend, actor and ex-“Pinoy Big Brother” winner Kit Thompson.

Ana and Kit recently went on a tryst in Tagaytay City. The couple checked in a hotel in the cool city to beat the summer heat. It turned out, it was a different “beating.”

Suddenly, Jalandoni was crying for help when she posted in her Facebook Messenger that she was detained and beaten by Kit. In her post, she was haphazardly sending messages because she was worried Thompson might wake up and find she was asking for rescue.

In no time at all, the Tagaytay Police had gathered all its intelligence reports by locating the whereabouts of Kit and Ana.

When the authorities found out the exact location of the incident, they arrested Thompson and brought him in a police precinct in the city for questioning while Jalandoni was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The Viva artist was beaten black and blue which resulted in her swollen face.

In her message to the public, Ana asked:

“When you love someone you will never ever harm them.” Was this directly meant for Kit?

Then she offered a question out of her introspection.

Minahal mo ba talaga (Did you ever love?)” without pointing at a particular subject which was obviously her.

Jalandoni gave a general advice to people who have been in similar situation as hers or would be entangled in future sexual abuse.

“This is me saying, you all should be careful out there,” she said.

Apparently, there were already many concerned colleagues and kith and kin who were sending her words of comfort.

“I can't reply to all of you right now but thank you for checking up on me,” Ana quipped and promised she would soon be making herself available publicly. “I will release a statement soon,” she added.

According to reports, a heated argument ensued between the lovers.

Currently, the Tagaytay Police had filed a case against Kit founded on Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act of 2004.

Thompson’s management agency, the Cornerstone Management, has issued the latest official statement on the issue:

“The Cornerstone Management does not condone any act of violence and profoundly values the dignity of women. We take this opportunity to clarify that our earlier statement was issued with no knowledge of any specific details as we were in receipt only of general allegations. Neither were we privy to any photos of the incident.
“In this delicate situation, we subscribe to the sound discretion of the law enforcement and allow the wheels of justice to take its course.”
