This year's Head in the Clouds Festival will move from its previous home at Los Angeles State Historic Park to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, where Goldenvoice has previously hosted festivals such as Arroyo Seco Weekend and Pasadena Daydream.

88rising has announced the 2021 edition of their annual Head in the Clouds Festival.

It happens in Pasadena, CA at Brookside at the Rose Bowl on November 6 and 7, 2021.

Rich Brian, Saweetie, Joji, NIKI, and CL headline the event, which also features Japanese Breakfast, The Linda Lindas, beabadoobee, Audrey Nuna, Guapdad 4000, Keshi, UMI, warren hue, Ylona Garcia, and more.

88rising has always been on point in choosing who to feature and whom to bring together in its annual festival.

Each of their Head in the Clouds compilation albums provided awesome collaborations and little to no skips.

Meanwhile, their concerts and festivals are other pieces of evidence that they only bring the best artists under one roof.

Take the lineup for the Double Happiness Winter Festival and the most recent roster for Asia Rising Together back in May: both were concerts worth watching from start to finish.

For the first time since its 2018 debut, the fest will expand to two days, Saturday, Nov. 6, and Sunday, Nov. 7.

It will move from its previous home at Los Angeles State Historic Park to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, where Goldenvoice has previously hosted festivals such as Arroyo Seco Weekend and Pasadena Daydream.

Head in the Clouds’ popularity has grown, with 10,000 people attending in 2018 and more than 22,000 the following year, according to a press release.

First things first, the acts. Of course, 88rising mainstays NIKI, Joji and Rich Brian are headlining the shows. That shouldn’t be up for debate.

After all, they’re the crowd favorites and ultimately the label’s most popular artists.

They’ll be joined by K-pop superstar CL and one of hip-hop’s rising stars: Saweetie.

But Saweetie isn’t the only Pinoy taking over the lineup, because more Filipino talents are coming.

Beabadoobee will be gracing the stage, along with Paradise Rising artists Guapdad 4000 and Ylona Garcia.

Other 88rising artists, such as ATARASHII GAKKO!, Audrey Nuna, Seori, Stephanie Poetri and Warren Hue will also have their turn at the flagship music festival.

Tickets went on sale last July 29 and $1 per ticket will be donated to Inner-City Arts, an organization that provides students from underserved communities in the Los Angeles area arts instruction.
