In-site events are up again amid the lowering cases of COVID-19 in the country but precautionary measures are still in place like wearing of masks, applying sanitizers and maintaining physical distancing.
Amid this backdrop, Teatrino in Greenhills is all set for the awarding of the various awardees in this year’s Philippine Empowered Men and Women and Social Media Best Brand to be held in Teatrino Promenade Greenhills tomorrow, March 26 at 6 pm.
The awards focus on the recipients’ valuable contributions to their respective fields of endeavors for national development.
On its fifth year, PEMW and SMBB aim to raise awareness on the roles of Filipinos here and abroad in the empowerment of men and women to strengthen their participation and advocacies for the betterment of Philippine society.
“There are a lot of outstanding Filipino men and women here and overseas who are deserving of recognition and we must encourage them to pursue their personal as well as professional goals to serve their countrymen so in behalf of the Filipino people I am indebted to them so I show my appreciation to them by means of these awards,” explained RDH’s head Richard Hiñola.
Among this year’s awardees are John Nite, TV Hosting; Vergel Meneses, Public Service; Melanie Veneracion, Business Leadership; Lovely Rovero, Aiko Melendez, Yam Concepcion and Meg Imperial, Acting; Dulce and Gigi de Lana, Music; Major Aris Williamere Villaester, BJMP Jail Warden for Public Safety; Don Cristobal, Fashion Design; Aaron Domingo, Public Relations; Emma Mary Tiglao, Beauty Pageantry and newscasting etc.
Surprise awards as Best Dressed Male and Best Dress Female will cap the awarding.
In 2020 and 2021, PEMW and SMBB awarding rites were staged online and published in newspapers and magazines after two successful recognition seasons in 2018 and 2019.
The 2022 PEMW and SMBB is for the benefit of Best Magazine’s charity projects.
