After six long years of public service as councilor of the Sangguniang Pambayan ng Pateros, 1996 Binibining Pilipinas-World Daisy Reyes has embarked on a new journey.

This time, combining show business and health and wellness management, Daisy has recently launched a beauty product she calls "oil essentials."

According to Reyes, while waiting for the right acting project, she has concocted an oil spray that heals body pains and other illnesses.

"Kasi po noong bata pa ako, ang panggamot sa mga sakit sa katawan, Salonpas. Kaya nasabi ko sa sarili ko na gagawa rin ako ng gano'ng produkto pero spray siya (When I was young, Salonpas was the healer of body pains. Then I told myself I would create the same medicinal product but it would be spray)," revealed Daisy at the recent opening of Soroptomist International Philippines' bazaar at the SMX of SM Aura in Taguig City.

According to the beauty queen-actress, she enrolled in an aromatheraphy school where she learned about mixing natural medicine.

To get the feel of it, Daisy sprayed the oil essentials in my nape which eventually soothed it.

Aside from venturing in health and wellness business, Reyes is managing her household.

"I have a daughter and I am married to Atty. Tobias. Hi, Barry!" she greeted her husband in our cell phone camera interview.

"Are you going back to politics?" I asked her.

"Hindi ko po masasabi (I cannot say anything yet)," she replied with conviction.

In conjuncture, Daisy said that politics is more intimate.

"Kailangan, humaharap ka talaga sa tao (You need to personally attebd to the people)," she elucidated. "Ngayon, businesswoman muna ako (For the moment, I am currently a businesswoman).”
