Philippine Airlines (PAL) has recently unveiled its newly opened Super Mabuhay Lounge at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.

The lounge, which was opened last November 23, aims to offer passengers a space for relaxation prior to their departure.

According to PAL, the international lounge, which was designed by Atelier Almario, is extremely impressive. It spans across 1,200 square meters and has room to seat 294 people.

"Business class passengers, Elite/Premier Elite frequent flyers and Million Milers taking our international flights may now experience the comfort and convenience of this elegant and well-curated structure," the airline said.

Among its “outstanding” features” include an “exclusive room” for Million Milers; a dining area with a buffet table, with the airline’s signature arroz as its showcase, a bar with a variety of beverages including Tanduay's drink selection; shower rooms and restrooms for males, females, the elderly and PWDs; a massage corner; a nursing area and a vaping area.

“Plane spotters” are also allocated a designated area inside a lounge that provides a good view of the ramp and skyline of NAIA.

"Our lounge's cozy ambience, modern amenities and the warmth and hospitality of our lounge team make waiting for one's flight a truly delightful experience," PAL added.

Meanwhile, the airline also announced the opening of a recently built PAL Domestic lounge in Mactan, Cebu, last August. The lounge's design is a joint effort between Arch Adrian Chua and Philippine Airlines.
