Despite news of its filing for bankruptcy in the United States, Philippine Airlines, the country's flag carrier, still continues to carry out passenger and cargo services, as shown here at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Sunday.
The airline has said it will continue operating even as it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy at a court in New York, allowing the airline to restructure itself and shelve off millions of pesos in losses due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
