Didn’t you know that Vince Rillon, the latest star discovery of internationally acclaimed director Brillante Ma. Mendoza has fallen in love with the beauty and splendor of Pola, Oriental Mindoro?

It started when Vince shot “Pula,” thriller drama which he co-stars with Coco Martin and Julia Montes about police brutality in the countryside. The title itself is very indicative of the origins of the town of Pola from its old name Pula and how it evolved into its present geographical identity.

“I love the place so much. It offers not only the beauty of nature but the tranquility of the coastal and inner communities of the town,” said Vince in our exclusive interview with him.

“To think that I was with popular stars Coco and Julia who added dimension to my stay and impression in Pola,” he added.

The next time Rillon went to the bucolic municipality was when he did the BL (Boys’ Love) film “Sisid” with Christine Bermas and Paolo Gumabao.

“In ‘Sisid,’ I was totally engaged in the aquatic resources of the Mindoro seas. I was mesmerized by its waves and crystalline water as pure as life itself,” he opined.

“Sisid” is a Viva Films’ presentation which was directed by Brillante and already in the can waiting only to live stream at Vivamax.

But Vince’s initial outing for Vivamax is “Siklo,” a daring look at delivery machines and couriers directed by Roman Perez. It will be the can opener of Vivamax in 2022.
