This early, Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos has been readying herself to a politics-free living starting June as when she relinquishes the lone congressional seat in her Lipa District.
However, since she is the wife of Ralph Recto who is running for the post she would vacate, Vilma can’t help but dip her fingers into campaign sorties and political rallies in their bailiwick. Now, she is only in the backend.
At the moment, Vilma has just presented and supported the restructuring of existing infrastructure projects like beautification and refurbishing of Lipa City Hall which needed re-touch and building of new edifices and community amenities.
In a video that reintroduces a new face of the city, Vilma, in her Instagram post, said Lipa is on another milestone. “Mabuhay ang Bagong—Long Live New—Lipa).”
Ate Vi, as she is fondly addressed, was also seen personally managing and overseeing some of her congressional projects for the lone district.
“Work mode” was her description of her touring around the district for monitoring and joining ceremonial events.
After June, the actress would be ready once more to face up with movie and television cameras, territories which she misses.
Meanwhile, Ate Vi is geared to take a short respite before she rejoins showbiz.
