WHAT is it that draws non-resident celebrities to Batangas Province?

Aside from its beautiful beaches, idyllic greens and distinct cultures, what are the other things that lured guests, tourists and promenaders who seek out to this magic land?

Perhaps we can say the burgeoning exclusive hideaways and exotic reception halls and villas which cater to the discriminating public as well as private predilections of their hunters.

Just like the well-meaning search of lovers Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana where to hold the meeting of their destiny days before their most anticipated wedding day.

Tom and Carla travelled far and wide—even virtually—to look for the perfect venues of their matrimony.

Finally, they found the church and the reception hall.

Madre de Dios Chapel—the venue of the church wedding—is located in Tagaytay Highlands, the portion of the religious house is under the jurisdiction of Talisay, Batangas Local Government nit (LGU).

Despite living separate lives, Rey “PJ” Abellana and Rhea Reyes, parents of Carla, gave away their daughter to the man of her dreams while Tom walked side by side with her mom Teresita Abinguna to the altar where he would meet his future wife.

The matrimony was officiated by Bishop Ted Bacani.

After the ecclesiastical ceremony, the newly-weds and her entourage drove up to Jardin de Zaida, still another hidden resort-hotel in Talisay.

Well-wishers tailed the convoy of the nuptial retinue to the reception venue, a dream-like mood and atmosphere where Tom and Carla celebrated their union in wonderland—soothing music to float love in the air and to enthrall the phalanx of romantics.

Best wishes, Tom and Carla!
