Reel and real life lovers Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte are spreading their wings in the CALABARZON region when they signed up with Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation to do a TV series, this time, both of them in lead roles.

It must be remembered that the duo had supporting stints in shows like “The General’s Daughter” in 2019 and “Unloving U” in 2021.

At the moment, Loisa and Ronnie are shooting in a locked-in fashion the newest ABS-CBN teleserye, “Love in 40 Days” to hit the small screen nationally and globally in the very near future.

Andalio and Alonte are no strangers to Batangas province since they have gone to this region even without professional tasks but purely on personal visits and stays primarily due to the idyllic atmosphere of the place.

Besides, the Alontes are also from the CALABARZON area, being natives of Biñan City in Laguna, one of the provinces clustered in the region.

The Alontes are popular political and business people in Biñan. In their socio-commercial activities, they could always go to Batangas to connect with other enterprising people in the various communities in the “balisong” (native fan knife) country.

Meanwhile, the Andalios are from Parañaque City which is also in the periphery of CALABARZON and heart of Metro Manila, a very Tagalog (just like all zones of the southern Tagalog strip) domain in the national context.

Loisa and Ronnie are enjoying their bubble-styled shoots in various parts of Batangas but they had to undergo quarantine specifications—as part of health protocols to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace and private spaces—before facing the cameras.

In this project, they are separately stationed in their respective quarters in a hotel in the suburbs of Lipa City so as to follow health standards but still, they are enjoying it.

Although Andalio and Alonte are inseparable in real life, they have to toe the line of the authorities to function as citizens of the country.

“Love in 40 Days” is directed by award-winning artist Emmanuel Palo.
