ELLEN Adarna and Derek Ramsay were bride and groom nature trippers.
During their pre-nuptial shoots, they had Mabini, Batangas as an idyllic backdrop.
When they took their sacred vows as husband and wife, they explored the magic land of Bataan, specifically Rancho Bernardo Luxury Villas and Resort in Barangay Kakiputan Bagac.
The captivating area is right in front of West Philippine Sea in this historic province to witness the sweetest and the memorable moments in the culmination of their singlehood.
While their respective online posts were indication that they were to marry on that Thursday evening, there were only clues on how the groom would look like in his Bianca Cordero elegant light gray and white suit, and the bride in her sexy lacy wedding gown made exclusively for her by fashion designer Marc Rancy during their pre-matrimony gig like the bridal shower and the gathering of all his kith and kin.
“The boys are in the house,” Derek stated in his caption.
It was a dream-like bridal shower for Ellen as stylist and design arranger Gideon Hermosa made a Bali-inspired embellishment which could indeed function as the wedding reception as well.
“We brought the gorgeous bride-to-be, @maria.elena.adarna, to her favorite place with this Bali-inspired bridal shower. It's the perfect intimate celebration as she bids farewell to singlehood!
“I will always love a dreamy all-white wedding. The sophistication and elegance with just the right hint of whimsy to tie it all together.
“Instead of bright florals that tropical-themed showers are usually all about, we used a variety of greeneries and matched it with local design elements of beautiful rattan lanterns and bamboo chairs. Bringing in a warmer feel to our intimate set-up.
“Bali is a place of peace and calm for @maria.elena.adarna, and that’s exactly the inspiration we took to design her bridal shower,” wrote Gideon on his Instagram.
During the wedding itself, it was still the all-white motif which underscored the fantastic mood and atmosphere of the occasion.
Although it's kind of an exclusive family affair, the entourage included the parents of Derek and Ellen in attendance with the special participation of their children by previous liaisons, Austin Ramsay and Elias Cruz, the latter the son of John Lloyd Cruz.
Flower girl was the daughter of Beauty Gonzales while Scarlet Snow Belo was a special guest, according to her social media posts as she revealed that afternoon that she’d be attending her Tito Derek’s wedding.
It was indeed a real wedding in a reel and romantic backdrop of the sunset and the whistling of the waves but dawned a new beginning and sounded a loud advent of a beautiful tomorrow for Derek and Ellen at he echoed in his hopeful stream of thoughts:
