During the height of the surge of the Covid-19 variant Omicron, one of the busiest stars who was down with fever, headache, cough, colds, sore throat, body aches and other symptoms was Janice Jurado, a native or Gumaca, Quezon and therefore, part of the CALABARZON region.
But Janice qualified during the initial lab findings that she was just contracted with virus of the common colds and not coronavirus.
She just consulted with her doctor who gave her the necessary meds and precautionary measures once the symptoms worsened.
But no one could bar Jurado from performing her professional work as an actress and as a social media performer in Facebook and Asian television Content (ATC) Channel 31 online TV.
“Gusto ko lang pong mag-live kahit masama pa ang pakiramdam ko para malaman ninyo na okey ang sitwasyon (I just want to go live even if I am not feeling ogg so that you’ll be familiar with my situation).
“I’m good. May malat lang po at konting sinat pero okey po ako. Maraming nagmamahal sa akin. Maraming nag-aalala (I just have hoarse voice and slight fever but I am okay. There are many who love me. They’re all thinking of me).
“Marami pa rin pong sumusulat sa akin dito sa show ko sa Facebook at nanghihingi ng mga payo. Pinapayuhan ko naman po sila sa abot ng aking makakaya. Kaya lang, ‘yong iba, binabaligtad pa rin ako. Sasabihin ko na kausapin ‘yong taong may problema siya pero ang sasabihin sa iba ay sinabi ko raw na hinawalayan ang pinaproblema niya na asawa. Naa-out of context ako (There are still many who write and consult with me asking for pieces of advice with their problems in my Facebook show. I advise them as long as I could. However, there are those people who revert what I say. I would tell this particular woman to talk intently with the one she’s problematizing with but she would talk behind my back and say that I advised her to leave her husband. I am taken out of context),” Janice chuckled.
