After doing “40 Days” in less than a week, former sexy actress and now mayor of Pola, Oriental Mindoro Ina Alegre is into another very important film project.
After being directed by Neal “Buboy” Tan and acted with James Blanco, Michelle Vito and Cataleya Surio in the aforementioned movie, Ina will be handled by internationally acclaimed director Brillante Ma. Mendoza and acting with Coco Martin and Julia Montes.
Ina, Jennifer Cruz in real life, announced that she will co-star with Coco and Julia in a film to be shot in the coastal town of Pola.
As a matter of fact, Martin and Montes together with award-winning director and screenwriter Armando “Bing” Lao had a wonderful trip to Mindoro recently. They were picked up and drove by Ina herself from the port to her house in Pola.

The provincial visit had Coco and Julia familiarized with the location and Bing as the scriptwriter and consultant had imbibed the mood and atmosphere of the community where Alegre has been managing politically.
In an interview with Ina, the movie was reported to be a dedication to the love that binds Martin and Montes.
According to the lady mayor, the forthcoming film project will be shot in two weeks. It will also star Raymart Santiago.
