In a landscape where leadership spells the difference between progress and stagnation, Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas has emerged as the beacon of effective governance in Calabarzon.
Backed by an independent survey conducted by Hypothesis Philippines, conducted from June 18 to July 8, 2023, Mandanas clinched the title of Calabarzon's Top Performing Leader.
From a pool of 10,000 respondents spanning Region IV-A, the survey identified standout governors based on their achievements. Mandanas secured an impressive score of 95.2 percent, a testament to his strategic acumen and unwavering commitment to his constituents' welfare.
Running closely behind were Rizal Gov. Nina Ricci Ynares, achieving a commendable 94.6 percent, and Cavite Governor Juanito Victor Remulla, with a strong score of 90.8 percent. These leaders showcased their ability to navigate complexities while fostering sustainable growth.
The survey's robust methodology lent credibility to the results. With a 95 percent confidence level and a minimal margin of error (+1/-1 percent), the survey's outcomes stood on firm statistical ground. Respondents, aged 18 to 70, were randomly selected, ensuring representation across the demographic spectrum.
The recognition of outstanding mayors in Batangas further solidified the survey's significance. Mayor Beverly Rose Dimacuha of Batangas City led with a remarkable 94.8 percent, followed by Lipa City's Mayor Eric Africa at 94.1 percent, and Sto. Tomas' Mayor Arth Jhun Marasigan at 93.8 percent.
This survey underscores not only individual leadership prowess but also the critical role of local governance in community progress. Effective leaders like Mandanas, Ynares, and Remulla instill confidence and nurture development.
